We are committed to water safety, professional development, and creating a positive environment for our team and the communities we serve.About the RoleWe are hiring lifeguards for the upcoming summer season across our managed pool properties throughout the DMV region. Whether you're already certified or looking to get certified, we want to hear from you — we offer in-house certification training for eligible candidates.ResponsibilitiesMonitor pool areas and enforce all aquatic safety rules and regulationsRespond promptly and effectively to emergencies, including performing first aid and CPR when necessaryMaintain a clean, safe, and welcoming pool environmentCommunicate professionally with patrons, parents, and property managementComplete incident reports and documentation accurately and in a timely mannerAttend required training sessions, in-services, and pre-season orientationsRequirementsMust be at least 15 years of ageCurrent lifeguard certification required, OR willingness to obtain one — we provide certification training for eligible candidatesStrong swimming ability and comfort in the waterReliable, punctual, and professional demeanorAbility to work weekends and holidays throughout the summer seasonCompensationCompetitive hourly pay — compensation discussed during the application process.How to ApplyApply online at happysummerspool.com/apply.
