Manufacturing Manager

Location: Raleigh, NC

Overview

Our client, a manufacturer of custom industrial machinery and automation equipment, is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead production operations, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and oversee safety, quality, delivery, and productivity across the facility.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations, scheduling, and capacity planning.
\n
• Manage machining, fabrication, assembly, testing, and production activities.
\n
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
\n
• Develop and track KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
\n
• Partner with Engineering to support design-to-build execution.
\n
• Lead quality, root-cause analysis, and corrective action efforts.
\n
• Manage, coach, and develop production teams.
\n
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
\n
• Improve operational efficiency, throughput, and on-time delivery.
\n

Requirements

\n
• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
\n
• Experience managing teams of 30+ employees.
\n
• Strong knowledge of machining, fabrication, welding, and assembly processes.
\n
• Experience in custom machinery, automation, capital equipment, or industrial manufacturing.
\n
• Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
\n
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
\n
• ERP/MRP system experience preferred.
\n
